Yep it has snowed again, better than rain! We had 15 cms or 6 inches over night. It was gorgeous today -2, and sunny. So we went playing in the snow, visiting a new puppy and then snow shoeing. Everyone is now resting! Here are some pictures from today.
It is a beautiful day today, a bit of fresh snow then sunshine. Merry Christmas from the BC and the BT, we hope you have a great day and do what you enjoy and live in the moment!
I am being very good
Why do you do this to me?
I have a BC up my butt!
Passing!
Why should I "find it", she can, where's the Wabba?
This is what I saw when I checked today's weather forecast.

This is a

regions. Monitor weather conditions..listen for updated statements.
An intense frontal system from the Gulf Of Alaska is riding over a cold
Arctic airmass and has spread snow over central and Northern BC
Interior. Snow at times heavy is expected to continue through Thursday
over portions of the Central Interior and the BC Peace River region.
Total snowfall accumulations with this storm are forecast to generally
be in the 20 to 30 cm range although as much as 40 cm is possible in the
Williston and McGregor region.
And there was already close to 20cm on the ground. So after shoveling and doing cleanup after the Blower man had been out we decided to go visit a few dog buddies for some fun. The drive was interesting but at least everyone lives close.
It was -22 this morning. Not much can be done especially when there is so little snow and most of it is frozen or icy. Sooo we decided to go have pictures taken with Santa Claus to support the local SPCA. Then we hit the Farmer's Market for some bread, eggs, carrots, cabbage and Huckleberry jam. Followed by a Rally Obedience class. To top it off everyone got nice juicy buffalo neck bones. It is now rest time.
In case you don't believe me
Watching for some action
Tracking jacket for -20, crazy BC in the background!
Davie sang a carol for Santa
Emmi was trying to figure out why she didn't get to sing!
Yummeh
And finally a video of Emmi's Rally practice. Too many commands and too many tight leashes and not enough praise, but she was a happy tail wagger. I should have had Davie videoed, he was awesome. Never can tell with Mr. D but today he was into it. Rally to him can be borrrrrrring!
No snow shoeing today. It was raining this morning and the snow is too soft and heavy now so we have been playing in the yard. Here are "some" pictures. Sorry there are so many, I couldn't narrow them down any more.
I know some people think I am nuts but I happen to love winter. I have a clean Davie from now until the puddles appear in the spring. We have been snow shoeing about 4 times and other than for about 3 days of -15 to -20 it has been perfect. Well except today as it is above 0 and the snow is getting sticky.
PLEASE can we play?
I keep telling you they are gone, I think you have a nose problem!
Happy man, love the way his head is almost in focus and the rest shows movement
Emmi's -20 coat, I should have blurred the background!
Update on Beau the coonhound who was attacked by a cougar. His foot and leg healed very fast. He has had surgery on his hip and it was quite a mess. For an update please check out Cinnamon's Blog Coonhound Tales listed under my blog list..
Smokey X has taken over his official duties as the mascot for the University of Tennessee. Here is a short news clip on the history behind the Smokey Mascot.
This is a video I took at Davis Branch of Emmi (pink collar), Smokey X(orange collar), three other pups and my sweetie, Tater, the Bloodhound/coonie cross. She was a monster even at 7 weeks!
