Please Help Beau if you can.

This is Beau.

Colorado Coonhound Rescue has a sweetie they are helping that is going to cost a lot of money. The vet bills will be around $4000. The information on what happened is in the blog as well as where donations to help with his vet costs can be made. It all started with a cougar attack.

Why I shouldn't bother making the bed.

This goes on at least twice a day. And they do switch directions and the bed is beat up more when Davie jumps on it chasing Emmi.

A Lab Land Visit

We were invited down to Lab Land (www.eromit.com)  last Sunday for a run in the big field. It was a gorgeous day and can you say 15 dogs. All labs but 4. Davie had a heck of a time trying to herd all the labs together. It was a blast but Davie was sad, he didn't get to see his friend Marvin the cat. Apparently Marvin was busy preparing his condo for winter hibernation. Here are some pictures of the crazies.

Agility Paddock Shutdown for 2013

This is always a bit of a sad day but usually a lot of fun. Our dog club is VERY lucky to have use of a huge fenced field, about 5 acres, for the outdoor season. We have a fenced off agility area inside this field. We charge our members a minimal monthly fee to be able to go practice agility and just play/train dogs in a secure area. The club also uses this for all our outdoor trials. It is great because people can camp in the field for the weekend. We have some plans for the winter season in development which could be a lot of fun. But back to paddock close down. Here are some pictures:
